December 2nd in southeastern Washington State (US) is not the best time of year for our little wildflower garden. But a single Dwarf Blanket Flower,
Gaillardia aristata v 'Goblin', is too stubborn to die.
So I got this new camera, a GoPro Hero 11 Black, and I'm disappointed in my failure to really understand what I was buying. I assumed it was a "do everything" device, and that is more-or-less true... but really, it's a tiny ultra-wide-angle video camera that also takes photos. If I want normal-looking photos (without a fisheye effect), I need to crop them down to just the center of the image.
Hmph. Well, at least it can generate RAW-like files. So now I get to learn how to use Darktable for image processing. This photo is my first experiment.
