Um, I'm using Streams rather than Hubzilla, but I think it's about the same. If you have a notification of a connection request, click that. Or, find Connections in the menu, then find your new connection, and click Edit. There should be a button to approve the connection.

Oughta be something like that... I hope an authentic Hubzilla user will correct me if I'm wrong.

The shortest way is to click on the notification about the new contact in the right aside. This should open a modal where you can set various things for the connection. The approve button is at the bottom right...

Itś not showing up that way on their end ... they are using Calckey though. 🤷‍♀️

I have actually tested connecting with calckey and it worked at that time. Will revisit...
Which version of calckey is it?

@Mario Vavti dev branch for v14 although i think my suggestion for them to take back the follow request and resend it fixed the Circle of Death. Thank you anyway!

I do not have the possibility to test against their dev branch. I have tested with calckey.social a week or two ago...

@Trash Panda (Nicole) calckey.social is on v14 dev now and i have retested connecting to my account there. Worked as expected for me. Do you have the Activitypub App enabled for your channel? It will not work without that (although the contact will be added at the Hubzilla side anyway - might need to fix that)
