Two little filet mignon steaks on sale for US$14/lb, perfectly aged at 9 days past the sell-by date, broiled medium in the toaster-oven. A warm croissant. A glass of very dry Provence Rosé. Chocolate cookie for dessert. And the cat is licking the broiler rack. That was a very nice mid-afternoon dinner. 🙂
